What are delivery times&cost ?
Delivery takes place within 3 days of an order,we have the facility to deliver in the evening time it that suits if it's more convenient
Delivery is included in the price, the areas covered
by our delivery is Co. Dublin at the moment.
Are the logs kiln dried?
No, our logs for sale are not kiln dried, they are seasoned
naturally under cover, away from the elements. The end result is what matters and that’s the moisture content,the moisture content of our firewood is below
20%. Kiln dried is only a process of drying. Kiln dried is a really just a “designer word” like
gourmet that adds value(and needless expense) to a product.
How do you know the logs are dry?
We are 100%
confident our logs are dry, There are ways to estimate if firewood is dry, a very handy way to tell accurately is by a moisture meter that will give a percentage reading. They can be easily
bought in hardware stores or on amazon for about €20. We carry a moisture meter
when delivering so you can verify that you get what you pay for.
